The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRF) is a non-profit organization funding research to find a cure for type 1 diabetes.

From the JDRF website:
Founded by parents of children with juvenile (type 1) diabetes, JDRF has one mission: to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. We look for the best and most relevant research to achieve a cure through restoring normal blood sugar levels, preventing and reversing complications, and preventing type 1 diabetes.
